Research Centre has been actively operational in the college in resounding the research work and enhancing teaching. The cell aims to forward the vision and mission of the college ‘pioneering a high-quality legal education’ and ‘to promote a high level of learning and research ability’.

Research Centre has been successful in cultivating the research culture amongst faculties and students. Students are invigorated to participate in research activities and publish the research papers. The faculties have pursued for the research projects and funds from various national and state institutions viz., UGC, NHRC, National Commission for Women, Centre for Consumer Studies (IIPA- Indian Institute of Public Administration) and Savitribai Phule Pune University. The college through the research cell focus on contemporary and new areas of research topics and conduct seminars, conferences, workshops, training programs, moot court and other competitions. The cell extends its support to the Post-Graduate students in completing their research work in an original way and monitors the entire research activities of the college.

The College publishes an International Refereed Journal titled Spiritus Lege, annually. Peer academicians and legal scholars are encouraged to publish their research work.

In academic year 2022-23, the college received the affiliation for the Ph.D. Research Centre (Law) from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. The Ph.D. Centre has become operational and admitted the Ph.D. research scholars. Faculties from the college are the recognized as PhD research guides of the Savitribai Phule Pune University  and are affiliated with the Ph.D. Research Center. Faculties from the other colleges are also recognised as the associate guides of the center. The Research Committee co-ordinates the research activities.
